A brief (photoless) update

Dear S.LC. Pomp Reader,

Frances and I would like to take a moment to update you on our progress. This site has been up for 7 days. We're a little dumfounded by the short time span. In one week, we've managed to average 27 visitors per day, hitting a record of 22 different visits in an hour this weekend. We've had visitors from all over the state, San Antonio, New York City, Portland, and Illinois. Not to mention a couple of people from France and Germany.

In our opinion, that isn't bad at all.

Frances and I traversed Salt Lake City yesterday to find some new photos and, despite a slow day of walking traffic, will be updating tonight or tomorrow morning. Some of you have complained about no new updates. Noted. We're planning on spending as much time as possible this week roaming with camera and notepad in hand.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank each person who has allowed us to invade his/her daily life, answered our questions of "Where's [fill in the article of clothing] from?" and "Where do you shop in Utah?", and posed for photos without the opportunity to primp or prepare. You all look adorable.

Keep checking back. We're enjoying your interest almost as much as we enjoy taking these photos.
