Sure, Frances and I were apprehensive when we heard Ikea was finally gracing Salt Lake City with its presence. As we were waiting in the two-hour line to get into the 337 Project, we watched a truck towing a clear display trailer drive by, showcasing living human models tucked neatly into the Swedish-modern home-assembly pieces. Earlier that night we'd passed someone drawing chalk advertisements outside of the City Library. Suffice to say, our curiosity got the better of our apprehension. Frances went to the Ikea opening day preview, and she quickly found that we weren't the only curious Salt Lake fashionables.
