Its so you know. . . "Groovy"

Donna is an Educated, Classy lady. Doesn't it just shine through? She is the assistant Curator at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. She is wearing a dress that she bought at Dillard's during a dress emergency. The dress is made of a polyester that is easy to wash but still elegant.

"It's sort of retro, even though it's new."

Donna is going to play the "retro" card this season. Which seems to be a good choice in this here market. The shoes also have some past life flair. She purchased them at Nordstrom. Her favorite store to shop at is Decades, I think we can all agree to that.



"I just like to wear what I like. I don't care what brand it is or where I bought it. I just care if it looks good and I like it."

Amen to that Donna.

If it were Hot she wouldn't wear much more

Isabelle is a friend of SLCpomp. At every event she attends, Isabelle is always immaculate. Her philosophy on buying clothing is, if it has character and is tasteful, go for it. Isabelle thinks that older clothes usually have more character and therefore prefers to purchase close of a the vintage variety.

"Its not that I only buy vintage and am against new clothing, I am just more attracted to older styles and genres. There are so few New Fashions I like."



Part of being a Fashionista for Isabelle is also creating her own clothing.

"God, I love to sew!"

She makes bags, aprons, tunics, pants and dresses. Her favorite thing to make is dresses and she has become an expert at that. She mostly sews because she enjoys it but also because sometimes what she imagines herself wearing is unattainable unless she makes it herself.

" Right now I am making my own underwear [Woo!] because I hate paying so much for cute underwear and then it just falls apart."

The rainy Season



For the Spring/Summer Season Isabelle plans to wear lots of dresses, tunics and cut-offs. She also would like to wear loads of hats. Isabelle forecasts that temp tatts are going to be the shit this Summer.
