"Do you go to the Sundance Film Festival?"
No one ever asks us about the music or fashion scene. Well, we have both. We also have a broad base of bicycle-riding, downtown-walking 20somethings. We intend to fill this blog with photos of them.
Yes, there are Mormons. Missionaries, sisters, bishops. Contrary to popular belief, they have particularized fashion as well. As we break down what people are wearing, you might note "The DI" in several of the lists. The abbreviation refers to a chain thrift store, Deseret Industries, run by the Church of Latter Day Saints. Groups of female missionaries from all over the world bring unique fashion perspective to Temple Square. Sometimes, the only thing that distinguishes a hipster boy in a tweed suit and converses from Elder Smith is one small, black name tag with a Temple imprint.
This is Salt Lake City. Not New York, Milan, or Tokyo. This city represents a fashion divide on every downtown street between religion, style, and scene. Welcome.

I dig it. Although I am looking at some aspects through a J-school perspective, but that's alright.
You two are great.
